Master Classes are an empowering experience for young music students who attend the FREE Young Persons’ Concerts, giving them the opportunity to have their playing critiqued by a professional artist, as well as the opportunity to perform before an appreciative audience.
After the FREE Young Persons' Concert students who have registered for the master class will play for the artist who will give feedback and advice regarding technique, musical expression, etc. A rewarding experience for all concerned, many members of the general audience remain to observe the master classes in their entirety. To sign up for master classes, please call Misty Beyer at (203) 254-0123 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

"Thank you for all your work and getting these talented musicians to perform in such a beautiful venue. I love how some of the musicians offer free master classes. I heard the clarinetist work with a student...and in about 3 minutes, his suggestions made marked improvements in the student's sound. Quite impressive!"...Marguerite Christie
“Thank you so much for the wonderful David Aaron Carpenter concert. I was in the master class and he helped me a lot with the Walton Viola Concerto.”... from Jedrik Chao
"Today was a most enjoyable concert! What a wonderful turn-out!...Not only are the men of the American Brass Quintet talented musicians but amazing teachers as well. Shaun was so incredibly fortunate to receive the feedback he did today. What a unique experience. I can't thank you enough!"...Liz Ramkunis, mother of master class participant

“Thank you for inviting us to play on your series. It’s so wonderful that you focus on young people. Your youth audience is one of the most enthusiastic we’ve ever encountered. And it was great to work with so many kids one-on-one in the master classes. It’s really a special program you’ve created and we felt honored to be part of it.”
